Bowery is a street in downtown Manhattan, for those of you who don’t know. We like to think of it as Broadway’s eccentric little brother. Like Broadway was the prep school kid who went to Columbia on a full-ride rugby scholarship and later went on to work at an investment bank, while Bowery was the little brother who dropped out of art school to focus on music. But not a lazy kid, like a kid whose punk band went on to become quite famous. It’s tough, there is no denying that. Compared to the other personified streets, it would definitely have the thickest accent. Definitely voted for Humphrey in the ’68 election. The point is, Bowery is inherently cool.
This is the home of punk star Joey Ramone, the workplace of Beastie Boy’s character “Johnny Ryall,” and the territory of the ruthless 19th century gang, The Bowery Boys. Like, come on! Have you ever heard of a cooler group of people? Unless James Dean somehow gets thrown into the mix, we don’t think it could get any better. We feel this Gramercy Bag truly represents Bowery. It’s not for everyone, we are aware of that. Expertly crafted to fit the needs of its users, its front compartment was designed to have the capability of carrying a copy of Catcher in the Rye at all times. (Also a laptop or other books or really anything else you might need, but you get the drift.)
However, we must issue a safety warning. There have been reports of men being injured while wearing the bag due to vast amounts of women throwing themselves at them. Coolness of this magnitude can be dangerous, but that’s a risk we, and we hope you as well, are willing to take.

Bought one of these for my brother and he loved it. Very soft leather, the stitching is top notch and the linen interior is a really nice touch.
